Worked in conjunction with NGOs identifying sites for installation of water wells (hand dug and bore). Conducted health education in the villages getting wells.

Also began a doll making business in Kambia and Freetown with local ladies which exists today.

Revisited Salone in 2005, stayed with Xaverian Missionaries in Freetown. Saw post war conditions and made monetary donation for schools in Kwama.
